ABOUT SWANS

With this painting I was attempting to capture the essence of love and felt that swans are a perfect example of this quality. Swans are amazing creatures, not only are they beautiful but once they find a partner they mate for life. I have read stories and viewed pictures of swans who have lost their partner and grieved until their own death.

This painting is a bit different from my normal oil artworks and style. It was painted in acrylics to which I add blue sparkles in the water and a green gem in the centre branches.
