My ABUNDANCE painting was inspired by a beautiful picture of Lakshmi I have.

Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity, wisdom, fortune, fertility, generosity and courage; and the embodiment of beauty, grace and charm. She is believed to protect her devotees from all kinds of misery and money-related sorrows.

In my painting the blue ring represents water, the pink column of light is the lotus which Lakshmi is sitting on, the red lotus petals in my painting match the red sari she is wearing and the gold dots in the red lotus petals are the jewels and gold coins Lakshmi showers us with.
